🌸What is the Tenpu Art Institute?🌸
The Tenpu Art Institute is a place where we explore a new kind of painting—one that “sees” with all five senses—by connecting the techniques of traditional Western painting with the spirit of Braille Digital Art.
The institute was founded to fuse classical painting techniques, cultivated over many years, with the new perspectives offered by Braille Digital Art.
We don’t just teach the technical skills of painting. We also explore how to express the world within us more richly by sharpening all five senses—touch, hearing, and synesthesia—rather than relying solely on sight.
The Institute’s Three Pillars
1. Passing on Proven Techniques
We emphasize the fundamentals of classical painting, such as drawing, composition, and color theory. By deeply studying these traditional methods, you will build a solid foundation for your expression.
2. Opening Up New Sensory Exploration
We hold unique workshops like “tactile drawing” and “expressing sound and scent with color.” These attempts will help you maximize your senses, leading to new forms of expression that go beyond the framework of conventional painting.
3. Fusing Art and Technology
We actively utilize digital tools and AI to study the composition of physical paintings and explore methods for further developing physical works digitally. Together, we’ll search for the expressive methods of the future, infinitely expanding the possibilities of your art.

Institute Schedule
- Days: Every [Day of the week] (four times a month)
- Time: 2-3 hours per session
Activities
- Sketching Tours: We plan to hold at least one tour per year.
- Exhibitions: We will hold exhibitions at galleries and other venues.
Operations
Social Gatherings: We will hold regular social events to deepen our friendships.
Self-Management: The researchers will handle all operations, including managing our social media.
Pricing Plans
Special Fees: Additional costs for figure models, exhibitions, sketching tours, and other special expenses will be charged separately.
Admission Fee: ¥20,000
Monthly Membership Fee: ¥12,000
Our instructors and advisors, who are members of the Kofukai (光風会) and follow the traditions of the Hakubakai (白馬会), will provide guidance.
