Braille Digital Art Ambassador Program Terms of Service

These terms are established to ensure the smooth and proper operation of the Braille Digital Art Ambassador Program (hereinafter referred to as “the Project”). By participating in the program’s activities, all Ambassadors are deemed to have understood and agreed to the contents of these terms.。

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these terms is to contribute to the popularization and awareness of Braille digital art, foster empathy for the Project’s activities, and help realize a society that embraces diverse values through the Ambassador program.

Article 2(Ambassador Definition

For the purpose of these terms, an Ambassador refers to an individual who supports the mission of the Project and assists in activities to widely promote its appeal.

Article 3(Ambassador’s Responsibilities)

Ambassadors shall proactively engage in the following activities to contribute to the promotion of the Project:

1. Information Sharing

  • Share the appeal and details of the Project’s activities through social media (X, Instagram, Facebook, etc.), blogs, and other platforms.
  • Help share and spread information provided by the organizers (press releases, activity reports, event announcements, etc.).

2. Event Support

  • Assist with events hosted or participated in by the Project (hands-on sessions, exhibitions, workshops, etc.) by explaining content to visitors, guiding them, and helping with operations.
  • Convey the Project’s appeal by incorporating your personal experiences.

3. Planning and Suggestions

  • Actively submit improvement suggestions and new ideas for the Project’s activities and public relations strategy from your perspective as an ambassador.
  • Propose independent activity ideas and assist in their implementation.

4. Other

Cooperate with photo and video shoots necessary for the Project’s promotional efforts.

Participate in meetings related to the Project’s activities.

Article 4(Eligibility)

To be eligible to act as an ambassador, individuals must meet all of the following conditions:

1.Have no association whatsoever with anti-social forces.

2.Agree to the Project’s mission and these terms.

3.Have a strong willingness to actively share information and participate in activities.

4.(For minors) Have explicit consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Article 5(Handling of Personal Information)


1. Acquisition and Purpose of Use of Personal Information

The organizer will acquire and use the personal information of the ambassadors, including their names, contact information (email address, phone number, etc.), age, school name, grade, social media account information, and photos and videos related to their activities (hereinafter “personal information”), for the purposes of operating this program, communicating about activities, public relations activities (including introduction on websites, social media, and printed materials), and reporting on activities.


2. Publication on Websites, etc.

When publishing the ambassador’s name, school name, grade, and images including their face on the project’s website, social media, promotional materials, etc., the organizer must obtain prior consent from the individual. In the case of a minor, the organizer must obtain the explicit consent (including written consent) of both the individual and their guardian.

If consent is not obtained, or at the individual’s request, the information will be published using a method that does not identify the individual, such as using a nickname, initials, photos where their face is not identifiable (such as from behind), or illustrations.


3. Restrictions on Provision to Third Parties

The organizer will not provide personal information to third parties without prior consent from the individual, except as stipulated by law.


4. Thorough Information Management

The organizer will take necessary measures to properly manage the acquired personal information and will strive to prevent its leakage, loss, or damage.


5. Withdrawal of Consent

Ambassadors or their guardians may withdraw their consent for the publication of personal information at any time. In such cases, the organizer will promptly cease publication or delete the relevant information.

Article 6(Expense Bearing)

Personal expenses incurred for ambassador activities, such as transportation and communication costs, are in principle the responsibility of the ambassador. However, for specific activities determined separately by the organizer, a portion or all of the costs may be covered by the organizer after a separate discussion.

Article 7(Copyright and Portrait Rights)

1.The copyright for content (text, photos, videos, etc.) created and shared by an ambassador regarding their activities will, in principle, belong to the ambassador.

2.The organizer may use the content provided by the ambassador free of charge for the purpose of the project’s public relations activities (including introductions on websites, social media, printed materials, etc.).

3.Ambassadors shall respect the portrait and privacy rights of other ambassadors and related parties and shall not photograph or publish content without permission. The organizer may use the portraits of ambassadors that they have photographed for the purpose of the project’s public relations activities; however, this is subject to obtaining prior consent in accordance with Article 5 regarding the handling of personal information.

Article 8(Compliance Guidelines)

Ambassadors shall comply with the following in their activities:

1.Do not use your position as an ambassador to pursue personal gain.

2.Understand and communicate in line with the philosophy and purpose of this project.

3.o not disseminate false information.

4.Do not engage in acts that slander, defame, or infringe on the privacy of third parties.

5.Do not engage in political, religious, commercial, or anti-social activities.

6.Do not engage in acts that violate laws or public order and morals.

Article 9(Termination of Activities)

1.An ambassador may terminate their activities at any time by notifying the organizer.

2.The organizer may request the termination of an ambassador’s activities if the ambassador violates these terms or is deemed unsuitable to continue as an ambassador.

Article 10(Modification of Terms)

These terms may be changed at the organizer’s discretion without prior notice to the ambassadors. The revised terms will take effect from the time they are posted on the project’s website or other designated platform.

Article 11(Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

The interpretation and application of these terms shall be governed by Japanese law. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be submitted to the Himeji District Court as the court of exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
